Six Kinds of Job, One Service Route

Roughly half the fleet is out on commercial work and half is on events and residential jobs. The trucks and the servicing standard do not change between them.

01

Construction & Trades

Ground-up builds, tear-outs, remodels and multi-crew sites.

  • OSHA sanitation guidance works out to roughly one unit per 20 workers, serviced regularly — we size to that, not above it.
  • Units placed where the truck can still reach them once the site changes shape and material is stacked.
  • Add units as crews ramp up, pull them as trades finish. Month-to-month, adjusted by phone.
  • A handwash station near the units where crews are handling adhesives, concrete or insulation.
02

Weddings & Private Events

Barn venues, backyard receptions, tented dinners and rehearsal dinners.

  • Deluxe flushing units or a restroom trailer, depending on guest count and how the venue looks.
  • Placed out of photograph sightlines but close enough that guests are not walking to the tree line.
  • Dropped the day before and collected the next working day, so nothing happens during the event.
  • Stocked so nobody in the wedding party is thinking about it on the day.
03

Festivals & Public Events

Race days, block parties, church picnics, food-truck nights and community events.

  • At least one ADA-compliant unit in the bank — public events generally need accessible provision.
  • The one-unit-per-50-guests-per-four-hours rule as the starting point, doubled where alcohol is served.
  • Handwash stations beside the food vendors, not tucked behind the toilets.
  • Servicing scheduled around the run of the event rather than the calendar.
04

Homeowners & Renovations

Kitchen guts, additions, whole-house remodels and long driveway projects.

  • One unit in the driveway for the duration, so the crew is not walking through the house you are paying to finish.
  • No minimum order and no business account — a single unit is a normal booking for us.
  • Discreet placement, and we will tell you honestly whether your driveway grade works.
  • Weekly or fortnightly servicing depending on crew size; you set the frequency.
05

Property & Facilities Managers

Restroom outages, plumbing shutdowns and phased refurbishments in occupied buildings.

  • Temporary provision while permanent restrooms are offline, sized to occupancy rather than crew size.
  • Deluxe units where tenants or the public will be using them, not basic site units.
  • Servicing timed outside business hours where the site allows it.
  • Hygiene supplies by the case if your own team is topping up between visits.
06

Other Rental Operators

Companies running their own restroom fleets who need supplies rather than units.

  • Toilet tissue, hand soap refills, sanitizer, cleansing wipes and trailer amenity sets by the case.
  • Boxed for route trucks so a driver can load a week of restocking in one go.
  • This is where the business started — it is a real supply line, not a sideline.
  • Collection from 611 Commerce St or added to a delivery run.

Sizing the Order

How Many Units Your Job Actually Needs

These are the starting points we work from. They are industry guidelines, not our invention, and your site may push the number either way.

SituationStarting point
Event, no alcohol1 unit per 50 guests per 4-hour window
Event with alcoholRoughly double — usage rises sharply
Construction crewAbout 1 unit per 20 workers, serviced regularly
Public eventAs above, plus at least one ADA-compliant unit
Food vendors on siteAdd a handwash station within sight of the stalls

Give us the headcount and the hours on the phone and we will work the number out with you rather than rounding it up.

Not Sure Which Category You Are?

Most jobs are obvious. A few are not — a corporate open day at a construction site is really an event, and a six-month renovation is really a job site.

Describe it on the phone and we will tell you which way we would treat it and what that changes about the units and the servicing.
