Frequently Asked Questions

Twenty questions we get asked most often — pricing and booking, delivery and placement, servicing and hygiene, and working out how many units you need.

Pricing & Booking

How much does a porta potty rental cost in Nashville?

Three things move the price: which unit you take, how long you keep it, and how often it is serviced. A single standard unit on a weekend event sits at the bottom of the range; a restroom trailer on a month-long job with frequent servicing sits at the top. Call with your dates, headcount and site address and you will get a firm number rather than a range.

What is included in the price you quote?

Delivery and placement, the service visits you have agreed, toiletries restocking on each of those visits, and pickup at the end. We do not bill collection separately from delivery — the unit has to come back either way.

Is there a minimum order?

No. One unit in a driveway is a normal booking. There is no business-account requirement and no minimum rental period beyond a single day.

How do I book?

By phone. We do not run a quote form or an online cart — sizing an order properly takes a two-way conversation about the site, and a form just adds a round trip. Call (615) 583-8628 any day between 7AM and 9PM.

Do you take bookings for future dates?

Yes, and for Saturdays in spring and fall you should. Those weekends, along with CMA Fest and marathon weekends, genuinely book out. If we cannot cover your date we will tell you on the first call.

Delivery & Placement

How fast can you deliver?

Same-day or next-day anywhere in Nashville when the fleet allows, which it usually does outside the peak weekends. Event orders are better placed a week or two ahead.

Where can the unit be placed?

On level, compacted ground with a clear approach for the service truck. Driveways, yards, gravel pads and fenced job sites all work. Soft grass after heavy rain is the usual problem, and a spot that was reachable on day one can be blocked by stacked material three weeks later.

Do I need a permit?

Not on private property. If the unit has to sit on a public sidewalk, street or right-of-way, Metro Nashville Public Works requires a right-of-way permit, and that application sits with you as the property owner or general contractor. We will place the unit wherever the permit specifies.

Can you move a unit once it is on site?

Yes. Sites change shape and a unit that made sense at foundation stage can be in the way at framing. Call and we will move it on the next run.

What if the truck cannot get in on the day?

Tell us about access when you book — gate widths, low branches, soft ground, a shared drive. It is a two-minute conversation that avoids a wasted delivery slot.

Servicing & Hygiene

Who cleans the units?

We do, on the schedule you set. A visit means the tank is pumped, the interior is washed down and sanitized, the deodorizer charge is refreshed, and the toiletries are restocked. You never handle the unit.

How often should a unit be serviced?

It depends on traffic, not on a fixed rule. A quiet driveway renovation needs far less than a twelve-crew site or a three-day festival. We will suggest a frequency based on the headcount you give us, and you can change it mid-rental.

What toiletries are restocked?

Toilet paper and hand sanitizer in every unit, plus soap and paper towels in the units and stations that have sinks. It is part of the service visit, not an add-on line.

Can I buy hygiene supplies to keep on site?

Yes. We sell toilet tissue, hand soap refills, sanitizer, cleansing wipes and trailer amenity sets by the case. That side of the business predates the rental fleet. Add them to a delivery or collect from 611 Commerce St.

Can you service outside business hours?

Where the site allows it, yes — occupied buildings and public-facing venues often need it. Raise it when you book so it goes into the route plan rather than being squeezed in later.

Units & Sizing

How many units do I need?

For events, start at one unit per 50 guests per four-hour window, and roughly double that if alcohol is served. For construction, OSHA sanitation guidance works out to about one unit per 20 workers. Those are starting points — give us the real numbers and we will work it through with you.

Do I need an ADA unit?

For an event open to the public, plan on at least one. Beyond the legal position it is a practical one: an accessible unit needs a firm, level approach, so deciding late usually means placing it badly.

What is the difference between a deluxe unit and a trailer?

A deluxe unit is a single moulded cabin with a flushing bowl, a foot-pump sink and a mirror, and it needs nothing but level ground. A trailer is a towed vehicle with several private stalls, running water and climate control, and it needs a tow route, a level pad and power. Guest count and venue access usually decide it.

Do you rent to homeowners as well as contractors?

Both, on the same terms. A one-unit driveway rental for a kitchen remodel is as normal for us as a twelve-unit order for a general contractor.

How long can I keep a rental?

From a single afternoon to the length of a build. Event rentals are usually dropped the day before and collected the next working day. Construction rentals run month to month with servicing folded in, and you can extend, add units or bring the pickup forward by phone.
